 Happy New Year to all.  Hope this New Year brings all your heart’s desire. 

 As part of my 2015 commitment to LAVA support I would like to start sending out communication on all information relating to Human Resources (HR) issues affecting the Army ie. (Evaluations, Promotions, Awards, Personal Actions, Assignment opportunities etc).  Please let me know if you choose not to receive this information.  The target audience would include all LAVA or non-LAVA members in the U.S. Army, both Enlisted and Officers.  This information will go out via AKO.  To the LAVA members that are HR, please join me in the effort.  I will be contacting you soon.   I am confident that you all receive the same information from your respective S1s; nevertheless, we are here to help.

Also, if you have any interest in being a part of the Army only Special Operation Aviation Regiment (160^th Special Operation Aviation Airborne), please let me know.  This Special Mission Unit (SMU) is involve in missions that are classified.  There are SMU recruiters located at almost every installation.  The Regiment HQ and three BN located at Fort Campbell, KY, one battalion located at Savannah GA, and the last is at Joint Base Lewis-McCord, WA.  I have a direct line with senior leaders in this organization and can work with  you on becoming a member.
