Calm Down: Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God."
So many times we make situations more than they are due to our anxiety.
God has your life under control; He knows how to handle even the seemingly complex situation with ease.
SO I SAY TO YOU SHUT UP ! Stop having pity parties and talking about your business all the time; don't you know that the power of death and life is in the tongue!
Stop speaking negative things into existence in your life and in others.
When you look at your situations through your eyes, you often read more into the
situation than what is there.
It's not as bad as you think particularly if God is in your life.
Stop over analyzing your life.
Be courageous: 2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of Love, and of a sound mind.
Fear is not of God. Have the courage to step out on faith and do the seemingly impossible. Start your own business; go into the ministry; apply for that promotion; anything that you've been afraid to do and you know that God has called you to do - JUST DO IT!
Have confidence: Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."
Remember, greater is He that's within you than he that's in the world. You have the power of the most High God working in you, and you have His Son steadily making intercession for you.
You have nothing to worry about!
Walk with your head up!
Walk in the VICTORY !
The devil is a liar!
You say you have low self-esteem; somebody told you that you'd never amount to anything.
Know that you are somebody not because Jesus said it, but because you are a child of God.
Romans 8:28 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
Does anything else need to be said?
The jury has been out and the verdict is in.
YOU WIN:
In your finances
On your job
In your relationships (married, single, divorced, family, friends)
In your health
God has already worked it out for you. It may not come the way you think it should come (or when you think it should), but remember.
CALM DOWN
Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet.
God determines who walks into your life, it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

I like your biblical advise on your front page. It is very touching and I hope every one on LAVA will take the time to read it and articulate every word and biblical citation there in.

At 4:43am on October 23, 2010, Bill Yekeku said… Thanks so much for the infos, I know it is not easy to get everybody at the same time for meeting. so for me, I think if we have a board set up then the board can meet or have teleconfrence where they will discuss the coming invents for the association and than let the rest of the members know on our website and from there each one will be able to give his or her opinion and we can start from there. Another thing that will make us move farward is to have board member or representitive from each of the states and abroad so that they can be able to reach their members with in that area of contact. For example, I'm from MN, if the Board comes up with a plans and then inform me about it, I will contact all the members with in MN about the plans ahead. I will be more involve when I come home from deployement so we can take this org. to another level. I appreciate your concerned MATT. Take care and may God bless u and your family

Was contacted by Bill yekeku about planning a LAVA event. You know we tried organizing a LAVA weekend this year but that fell through. We needed dedicated individuals. I was thinking that we can plan something for early next year... LAVA formal ball. I am headed for Afghanistan by May 2011. contact me DSN 314 380-5712 or send me yours

Sir
great concept! The execution piece will be the problem. I had out this concept awhile back because I felt that we should establish regional LAVA chapters. Even wrote the By-laws to govern the organization. I set up commitees and asked people to volunteer for those commitees. Even got a free conference call number that we could use but momentum was lost because people did not volunteer.

My thinking now is that we get few dedicated individuals to plan the event(LAVA Weekend), invite folks down, establish a leadership body during the meeting through a voting process and discuss the direction that we want LAVA to go. This may be the ball that gets the organization rolling.

on the other hand,I am open to whatever directions the rest of the members want to take because I believe that LAVA has the potential to do incredible things not only in America but also in Africa. send me ya number so we can discuss this.
